How to Create an Approval group

  1. First, you need to go to settings, which you will find in the top right corner.

  2. Inside settings, you need to select "Groups and settings" under approval flow.

  3. Check the box on the left side of the name.

  4. After clicking on the blue plus icon, you can now fill in the details on the right. In the first field, "Name," you should name the group.

  5. In the second field, "Approval Limit," you have the option to set a limit for how much this group can approve. In the example in the picture below, I've set an approval limit of 20.000, which means this group can approve documents up to 20.000. If you set an approval limit, you must choose a "Superior Group", which I'll describe in the next point.

  6. If you've set an approval limit, you must select a "Superior Group". The superior group is the group that will approve the documents if they exceed the approval limit you've set.

  7. The Bookkeeper group is where rejected documents are sent if you've chosen "Send to Bookkeeper" under permissions (see picture 2 below).

  8. Under "Project" and "Department," you have the option to assign a project, a department, or both to the group automatically (see picture 2 below). This means that the selected project, department, or both will be automatically added to the document when it gets approved by the group.

  9. Once you've filled out the desired fields, click on the blue "Save" button at the bottom right, and the group will be created.

  10. You can find information on adding users/members and Permissions to the group in the article "Adding Users and Permissions."
