Creating a new user and what functions the different user roles have

Created by Lukas Christensen, Modified on Mon, 30 Oct, 2023 at 10:45 AM by Lukas Christensen

  1. Click on settings in the top right corner.

  2. Under settings, click on "users".

  3. Click on the blue plus icon.

  4. A pop-up will then appear where the name of the person must be entered.

  5. Here, the e-mail must be entered in the field.

  6. Now the user role must be selected, where there are many different options. The different user roles and what they do, will be described below the image.

    User:

Can only see documents that are for approval in a group to which the user has access

Correspondingly, can only see documents in Archive that the user has sent in or approved at some point in the flow

Can only see the Approval and Archive tabs

Access can be given to all documents in the Archive - even if you have not seen the documents in it

Can be given access to see all documents that have been run through the approval group you are a part of - and not just those you have approved yourself

    Administrator:

Can see all documents, across approval groups in both Approval and Archive

    Can see all five tabs

    Has access to settings

    External Accountant:

Can basically see all documents, across approval groups in both Approval and Archive

Can be configured quite a bit

Do NOT have access to settings

    External consultant:

Can see all documents, across approval groups in both Approval and Archive

    Can see all five tabs

    Has access to settings

Differs from a normal Administrator in that they typically have access to several companies and are basically located in the Broker

    Customer Administrator:

Can see all documents, across approval groups in both Approval and Archive in all companies under the broker

Can see all five tabs in all companies under the broker

Has access to settings in all companies under the broker

Has access to the New customer menu item in settings on the Broker

    The branch administrator:

Same as customer administrator - can, however, see several steps down

Can see all customers under the broker, and their broker's customers etc

  7. If you do not want the user to have access to everything the user role can do, it is possible to change the permissions. To remove a permission, simply remove the blue tick so that the field is white and vice versa.

  8. When you have chosen the right user role, you must tick the white box next to invite user.

  9. Press the blue "create" button.
